I'm currently hard at work in the studio on my follow-up to Polis. I'm collaborating with the Paris-based singer, Muriel Louveau, and it's been great so far. The music is taking a really unique and interesting direction. We hope you'll like it. More soon...

Elegy I from Polis was once again featured on Hearts of Space.

I just completed the score for the film, Hers, directed by Jeong Jung Kim and starring Hye-na Kim, Will Yun Lee, and Karl Yune.

Here's a brief synopsis: Hers is really three short films about three women with the same love story, or perhaps one woman with three different love stories. In Los Angeles, a girl in her 20's, tries to find her way out of the city, by chance meets a police officer, and a fatalistic love story develops. In Las Vegas, a woman in her 30's with dreams of being a fashion designer meets an artist. They are two lost souls, both leading lonely lives in the shadow of a dazzling city. In Alaska, a woman in her 40's arrives. Her dreams have faded, and she has come to fulfill a lifelong wish to see the aurora borealis.

The film has been released in Asia and won the Korean Cinema on the Move Award at the Jeonju International Film Festival in South Korea.

Selections from Polis aired on the Hearts of Space radio program in the U.S. It was on PGM 782 "Nostalgia." Check it out by going to http://www.hos.com. Then do a search for "Polis."

Music from Polis will be broadcast on Ultima Thule, an excellent radio program of ambient music, sometime around July/August. The program is broadcast live on 2MBS-FM in Sydney, Australia and 5MBS-FM in Adelaide, Australia every Sunday from 10:30pm to midnight. Ultima Thule is also available via podcast for those of outside of Sydney and Adelaide. New shows are available every Sunday. It's a must-listen for fans of ambient/classical/soundtrack/chill-out and downtempo music.
